What Is Covered
This Standard Limited Warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship when the product is installed and operated in accordance with WINTEMP’s written installation instructions and subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this Limited Warranty.
This Limited Warranty applies only to products that are properly installed in the United States and Canada. Improper installation may void this warranty.
WINTEMP strongly recommends that this tankless electric water heater be installed by a licensed, state-qualified contractor who is trained in tankless water heater installations. Improper installation may result in loss of warranty coverage.

Whether a repair, replacement, or refund will be provided is entirely at WINTEMP’s sole discretion. Any return for a refund must be approved by the WINTEMP Customer Service Team before the product is shipped back.

- Photos of the installation
- Photos of the damaged part
Limitation of Warranty Liability
During the warranty period, all repair parts must be genuine WINTEMP parts, and all repairs or replacements must be performed by qualified professionals who have received relevant training.
If a component of the product fails due to a manufacturing defect, WINTEMP may, at its sole discretion, provide a repair, replacement, or refund.
WINTEMP does not authorize any individual or company to assume any obligations or liabilities on its behalf in connection with product replacement.
If WINTEMP determines that the product cannot be repaired, it may replace it with a product of comparable performance and specifications at its sole discretion.
Exclusions from Warranty
The following situations are not covered under this Limited Warranty:
- If the product is not installed or maintained according to WINTEMP’s Installation Manual, or does not comply with applicable federal, state/provincial, or local laws, regulations, codes, or licensing requirements, this warranty will be void.
- Any abuse, misuse, unauthorized modification, negligence, or improper use of the product will void the warranty.
- Damage caused by services performed by third-party providers other than WINTEMP is not covered.
- WINTEMP is not responsible for any labor costs, including installation or removal services associated with a warranty claim.
- Damage resulting from improper installation, including incorrect sizing, pipe length, elevation, condensation drainage, or inadequate airflow, is not covered.
- Damage caused by improper use, including freezing of the unit or surrounding pipes, incorrect sizing for the application, scale buildup, or incorrect gas and/or water pressure, is not covered.
- This product must not be used as a pool or spa heater. Using it for pool or spa heating is considered misuse and will void the warranty.
- Damage caused by the use of non-potable, untreated, or improperly treated well water, or water with a pH level or hardness exceeding 12 grains per gallon (200 mg/L), is not covered.
- If the product’s original serial number has been removed or altered so it cannot be clearly identified, this Limited Warranty will not apply.
